Abstract:
An air conditioner according to the idea of the present disclosure comprises: a compressor; an outdoor unit comprising an outdoor heat exchanger connected to the compressor; a first indoor heat exchanger supplied with a refrigerant from the outdoor unit; a first refrigerant pipe forming at least a part of a first channel between the outdoor unit and a first stage of the first indoor heat exchanger; a second indoor heat exchanger supplied with a refrigerant from the outdoor unit separately from the first indoor heat exchanger; a second refrigerant pipe forming at least a part of a second channel between the outdoor unit and a first stage of the second indoor heat exchanger; a fan disposed between the first indoor heat exchanger and the second indoor heat exchanger; a first expansion valve disposed on the first refrigerant pipe; a second expansion valve disposed on the second refrigerant pipe; a third refrigerant pipe forming at least a part of a third channel between a second stage of the first indoor heat exchanger and the compressor; a fourth refrigerant pipe forming at least a part of a fourth channel between a second stage of the second indoor heat exchanger and the compressor; a fifth refrigerant pipe; a first opening/closing valve for selectively opening/closing the fifth refrigerant pipe such that a refrigerant flows between the second refrigerant pipe and the third refrigerant pipe through the fifth refrigerant pipe; a second opening/closing valve for selectively opening/closing the second refrigerant pipe; and a third opening/closing valve for selectively opening/closing the third refrigerant pipe.
