Abstract:
Provided is an air conditioning apparatus capable of removing odors from air inside a room. The air conditioning apparatus comprises: an outdoor unit 30 that comprises at least a compressor 31 and an outdoor heat exchanger; an indoor unit 10 that comprises an indoor heat exchanger 14 inside a case 11, an indoor fan 15, a vertical airflow direction plate 19, and an electrostatic atomizer 20; and a control unit 40 that, if the indoor air temperature is at least a prescribed temperature, operates in an odor removal operation mode using odor recovery control, whereby the electrostatic atomizer 20 is operated, the setting for the indoor air intake temperature is reduced, and a cooling operation is performed.
