Abstract:
This air conditioning device (1) has an indoor unit (3) and an outdoor unit (2) including a compressor (21) for compressing a refrigerant and an electric motor drive device (22) for driving the compressor (21). The electric motor drive device (22) has an inverter (42) for converting DC voltage to AC voltage and an electric motor (43) including three stator windings, both ends of which are in an open state. The electric motor (43) operates based on the AC voltage obtained by the inverter (42). The electric motor drive device (22) also has a connection state switching unit (46) having a function of changing the connection state of the three stator windings included in the electric motor (43) and setting the connection state to a star connection when the operation of the air conditioning device (1) starts.
