Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an air purification device which has a high collection efficiency even with a low pressure loss structure, is deodorant, and whereby inactivation of bacteria or viruses which are trapped in a filter is possible with a function of the filter. [Solution] Provided is an air purification device which is provided with: a discharge electrode whereupon a voltage is imparted; a ground electrode which is positioned in opposition to the discharge electrode; and a particle collection filter, which is positioned between the discharge electrode and the ground electrode, is formed with a fiber structure having air permeability, and further comprises deodorant functional groups which are introduced into a least a portion of the fiber structure and metallic ions which are bonded to a portion of the introduced functional groups. The air purification device is provided with both an inactivation function and a deodorant function for bacteria and/or viruses which are collected with the particle collection filter.
