Abstract:
An air purifier comprises: a body including a discharge port on one side thereof; a blowing fan mounted on the body; a filter through which air introduced into the blowing fan passes; an exhaust chamber connected to the discharge port, and including a plurality of vents; and a plurality of airflow volume sensing units positioned so as to be adjacent to the plurality of vents, wherein each of the airflow volume sensing units comprises: a rotating fan rotated by air passing therethrough; a magnet positioned on the rotating fan; and a Hall sensor generating a signal when the magnet is adjacent thereto, wherein the airflow volume passing through the vents is determined on the basis of the period of the signal sensed by the Hall sensor. The air purifier can supply purified air to both sides of a smart wall, and can sense and adjust the amount of air discharged through each vent.
