Abstract:
Provided is an air purifier with a higher dust-collection effect, the air purifier being capable of inhibiting the adherence of dust to a wall, etc. and inhibiting the contamination of a room or space by efficiently using a static charge elimination effect of ions and an airflow to carry the ions. The air purifier is provided with: a blower and a blow-out louver that generate an airflow; an ion generation device that generates both positive and negative ions; and a collection filter that collects microparticles. A control unit of the air purifier intermittently executes, regardless of contamination of the air, an ion airflow operation that produces an airflow containing both positive and negative ions.
