Abstract:
Provided is an airbag device which can improve an occupant restraint performance of an airbag in the event of a crash. The airbag device includes: a first airbag cushion part and a second airbag cushion part which are mounted on both sides of a vehicle seat, respectively; a first active vent provided in the first airbag cushion part and a second active vent provided in the second airbag cushion part; and a control unit for controlling one of the first active vent and the second active vent to an open state and the other to a closed state when the first airbag cushion part and the second airbag cushion part are inflated and deployed.
