Abstract:
This airbag device comprises: a gas generator; an airbag which has a gas introduction opening and which is expanded during operation of the gas generator by a gas that is fed from the gas generator and is introduced into the inside through the gas introduction opening; and a gas feed tube which connects the gas generator with the gas introduction opening. The gas feed tube is detachably connected to the gas introduction opening. The airbag has a shut-off valve which shuts the gas introduction opening to prevent the gas from flowing out from the inside to the outside at least when the gas feed tube is detached from the gas introduction opening after the introduction of gas into the inside through the gas introduction opening is started.
