Abstract:
Provided is an apparatus for maintaining alertness, comprising a trigger sensing circuit (401) which senses a prescribed trigger, and a stimulation control circuit (402) which, if the trigger has been sensed by the trigger sensing circuit, causes a plurality of stimulation apparatuses (42, 43, 44, 51, 52), which emit respectively different types of stimulation to maintain an alertness state of a subject, to emit said stimulations. The stimulation control circuit comprises a rotation controller (403) which causes a change of the intensity of the stimulations which are respectively emitted from the plurality of stimulation apparatuses such that the intensity of the stimulations increases in turn.
