Abstract:
A method for improving the color rendering index of a light source to approach a natural spectrum. In order to obtain a set brightness, chromaticity and color temperature by means of adjustment, the magnitude of the current of a red light, a green light and a white light needs to be changed. Due to the fact that the adjustment of the current has little influence on the chromaticity value and the color temperature value of a single light source, only the influence thereof on the brightness is taken into consideration. The brightness adjustment algorithm thereof is as follows: adjusting the magnitude of the current using a trial-and-error method, and collecting a brightness value using a spectrograph; and comparing whether the brightness value obtained after the current is adjusted is equal to the brightness value calculated by the algorithm; and if not, continuing to adjust the current value, repeating the process of comparing the brightness value collected by the spectrograph, and performing successive approximation to enable the adjusted brightness of the final current gain to be matched with the brightness value that should be reached theoretically after adjustment.
