Abstract:
The present invention relates to alkali sludge for reducing phosphorous, a method for preparing alkali sludge, a method for reducing the phosphorous in wastewater using the alkali sludge, and a wastewater treatment apparatus for performing same. The phosphorous contained in wastewater can be removed by adding, into a bioreactor, alkali sludge, which contains an alkali compound mixed with active sludge, and which is for reducing the phosphorous in the wastewater, and additional alkali compounds are not used until the end of the useful life of the alkali sludge, and thus the present invention is economical. Here, the total amount of phosphorous (T-P) in the water treated according to the present invention is 0.5 mg/l or less.
