Abstract:

The present invention relates to a method for producing an alkoxylated resol-type phenol resin, and an alkoxylated resol-type phenol resin, wherein the method can produce an alkoxylated resol-type phenol resin from which a coating film having excellent corrosion resistance, fouling resistance, and color characteristics can be obtained, and a composition containing the alkoxylated resol-type phenol resin as a curing agent can be appropriately used as a paint for the linings of food and beverage cans.
