Abstract:
Provided is an alternating-current rotating machine apparatus that can determine, with good precision, whether a control circuit of another system has stopped operating. The alternating-current rotating machine apparatus is provided with: a resolver (2), a control circuit (6A) of a first system, and a control circuit (6B) of a second system. The resolver (2) has an excitation winding (10A) of the first system, two output windings (111A, 112A) of the first system, an excitation winding (10B) of the second system, and two output windings (111B, 112A) of the second system, and generates magnetic interference between the first system and the second system. The control circuit (6A) of the first system applies an AC voltage of a first cycle (TA) to the excitation winding (10A) of the first system, and the control circuit (6B) of the second system applies an AC voltage of a second cycle (TB) to the excitation winding (10B) of the second system. On the basis of a component of the second cycle as extracted from an output signal of the first system, the control circuit (6A) of the first system determines whether the control circuit (6B) of the second system has stopped operating.
