Abstract:
Disclosed is an aluminum alloy for die casting. The aluminum alloy comprises 3-10 wt% of silicon (Si), 0.1-2.0 wt% of magnesium (Mg), 0.01-1.3 wt% of iron (Fe), 0.01-2.0 wt% of zinc (Zn), 0.01-1.5 wt% of copper (Cu), 0.01-0.5 wt% of manganese (Mn), 0.01-0.5 wt% of chromium (Cr), 0.01-2.0 wt% of lanthanum (La), 0.01-2.0 wt% of strontium (Sr), and 0.01-2.0 wt% of cerium (Ce), the remainder being aluminum (Al) and inevitable impurities. The aluminum alloy for die casting of the present invention has excellent corrosion resistance and good physical properties.
