Abstract:
This aluminum alloy fin material comprises an aluminum alloy containing 1.50-5.00% by mass of Si with the remainder consisting of Al and inevitable impurities, is a single layer and has heat bonding capabilities. In a cross section along the thickness direction of the fin material, the equivalent circular diameter of Si particles is represented by D, the distance from the surface layer to the center of the Si particles is represented by L, the thickness of the fin material is represented by t, and the length parallel to the surface layer is represented by W. All Si particles which are present in the range of the length W and satisfy D ≥ L and L + D > 0.04t satisfy 0 ≤ ΣπD2 < 0.08tW. This aluminum alloy brazing sheet has the fin material as a coating material, the fin material being clad on an aluminum alloy core material. This heat exchanger uses the fin material or the brazing sheet for a fin.
