Abstract:
The invention relates to an angle grinder (100) having a spindle (1) for fastening a disk-shaped tool (200), wherein the spindle (1) is mounted in a gear housing (6) of the angle grinder (100) so as to be drivable about a spindle axis (S), and the spindle (1) is surrounded by a spindle neck (2), wherein a separating hood or a protective hood (12) can be detachably fastened to the spindle neck (2) so as to be at least partially rotatable about the spindle axis (S) by means of its respective protective hood collar (15). According to the invention, the angle grinder (100) has a rotational adjustment device (3) with a spring element (16) acting in the radial direction (R) and a latching element (17) operatively connected to the spring element (16), wherein, when the protective hood (12) is arranged on the spindle neck (2), the protective hood (12) is held in a desired position in a frictionally locking manner by the latching element (17) acting on its protective hood collar (15).
