Abstract:
A patch antenna comprising: four radiation elements arranged in a rectangular lattice pattern on four sides having a power supply point as the center thereof; and a wiring section that electrically connects, in phase, each radiation element and the power supply point. The patch antenna has power supplied thereto by a linear power supply conductor arranged at a position intersecting a slot formed in a ground conductor plate. The power supply conductor has a repeating branch pattern whereby a plurality of linear wiring sections are coupled in a T shape, orthogonal to each other, at a total of 2N–1 branch points until said linear wiring sections connect from a base end section to a tip section. Each of the tip sections is curved in the same direction in the second direction, from an end of the linear wiring sections to which the tip sections are connected.
