Abstract:
An antenna module (2100) receives high frequency signals output from an RFIC (2110) and radiates radio waves. The antenna module (2100) comprises: plate-shaped radiating elements (2130-1, 2130-2) that radiate radio waves of first polarization direction; feeding wires (2150-1, 2150-2) that supply the high frequency signals from the RFIC (2110) to the radiating elements (2130-1, 2130-2), respectively; and a grounding electrode (GND) that is opposed to the radiating elements (2130-1, 2130-2). When seen from the RFIC (2110), the frequency characteristic of the impedance of the radiating element (2130-1) is different from the frequency characteristic of the impedance of the radiating element (2130-2). In a case where for each radiating element, a frequency band for which the reflection loss is equal to or less than a predetermined value is defined as operatable bandwidth, the operatable bandwidth of the radiating element (2130-1) partially overlaps the operatable bandwidth of the radiating element (2130-2).
