Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention is an anti-G tolerance improving device provided with a valve control unit for controlling the operation of the following valves: a main valve for controlling, with respect to a main supply source for supplying oxygen to a user breathing in a state where a positive pressure is applied to the respiratory tract, the pressure of the oxygen supplied to the user; and an auxiliary valve for controlling the pressure of an auxiliary gas supplied to the user from an auxiliary supply source for supplying the auxiliary gas to the user, the auxiliary gas containing highly concentrated oxygen at a higher oxygen concentration than that of oxygen supplied from the main supply source. When the breathing state of the user shifts from an exhalation phase to an inhalation phase, the valve control unit controls the operation of the main valve and the auxiliary valve to supply the auxiliary gas to the user for a predetermined period that is shorter than the inhalation phase.
