Abstract:
Provided is an antibacterial-antiviral agent that has antibacterial-antiviral activity and that has a lesser effect on the appearance of an object to which the agent is applied. Specifically, this antibacterial-antiviral agent is a fatty acid metal salt and/or a metal complex. Metals of the fatty acid metal salt and the metal complex are each independently lithium, sodium, potassium, rubidium, cesium, boron, magnesium, aluminum, calcium, manganese, iron, cobalt, nickel, tin, antimony, copper, silver, zinc, molybdenum, vanadium, strontium, zirconium, barium, bismuth, lead, gold, platinum, or a rare-earth element.
