Abstract:

An apparatus for controlling a NAND flash memory device according to an embodiment comprises: a NAND flash memory; a controller for generating a command signal to write, read, and erase data in the NAND flash memory; and an auxiliary power supply circuit for maintaining power for operating the memory and the controller during a first period of time from a first time point at which the voltage of a supply power source falls below a predetermined voltage, wherein the controller blocks the command signal during the first period of time, and power supply to the memory is blocked during at least a second period of time from a second time point after the first period of time.
