Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system for controlling an auxiliary brake of a horizontal walker. The system for controlling an auxiliary brake of a horizontal walker, according to the present invention, comprises: a drive chain breakdown detection device that monitors a motor load of the horizontal walker and detects the breakdown of a drive chain from a change in the motor load; an auxiliary brake that makes a disc slow down or stop by applying an actuator lining pressure when the breakdown of the drive chain is detected by the drive chain breakdown detection device; and an auxiliary-brake control means that calculates an actuator operating pressure of the auxiliary brake corresponding to a braking distance by detecting the motor load of the horizontal walker shortly before the breakdown of the drive chain that is detected by the drive chain breakdown detection device, and controls the actuator lining pressure of the auxiliary brake based on the calculation result.
