Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for emotion recognition via GPS-based behavior analysis and a method therefor. The method for emotion recognition using the apparatus for emotion recognition based on a position information pattern comprises the steps of: collecting real-time position information about a user from a GPS terminal carried by the user; calculating pattern factors, including at least one among a position variation, the number of mobile clusters, entropy, an actual travel time, and the total travel distance, by using the real-time position information about the user collected during a preset unit time; deriving the pleasure level or alertness level of the user by applying the pattern factors to a preset neural network algorithm; and recognizing the emotion of the user according to the pleasure level or alertness level.
