Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are an apparatus and a method for establishing a radiation therapy plan for intensity-modulated radiation therapy. The apparatus for establishing a radiation therapy plan of the present invention comprises: a therapy plan establishment unit that obtains anatomical information of a site to be treated and establishes a radiation plan on the basis of the anatomical information; and a therapy plan modifying unit that obtains a diagnostic image of the site to be treated through an imaging device, and compares the diagnostic image with a pre-imaged medical image to modify the radiation plan. According to the present invention, it is possible to image radiation by means of a scintillator-based gamma camera capable of measuring radiation generated in the body, and to perform optimized intensity modulate radiation therapy through a quantitative evaluation and analysis.
