Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for estimating an SOC and, more particularly, to an apparatus and a method for estimating an SOC for estimating an initial SOC at the startup of a starting lighting ignition (SLI) battery provided in a vehicle. One aspect of the present invention has an advantage in that it is possible to accurately estimate an initial SOC of a vehicle starting battery that always uses a current regardless of whether a vehicle is in a driving mode or a parking mode.
