Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for manufacturing a pipe having a variable cross-section and a method for manufacturing a pipe having a variable cross-section using same, the apparatus comprising: a first moving device and a second moving device each having a respective pressurizing space formed therebetween; a plurality of support wedges arranged along the circumferential direction on the inner circumferential surfaces of the pressurizing spaces; a plurality of pressurizing wedges each coupling to the respective inner circumferential surfaces of the plurality of support wedges so as to form, between each pressurizing wedge and support wedge, a draw-out space where a pipe member is inserted into and drawn out from; a draw-out mold having the diameter of the draw-out space adjusted by having the respective intervals arranged between the plurality of support wedges and the plurality of pressurizing wedges adjusted by means of pressurization by the first moving device and the second moving device; and a mandrel for supporting the inner circumferential surface of the pipe member inserted in the draw-out space.
