Abstract:

Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for selectively preparing a highly reactive polybutene, a medium reactive polybutene and a nonreactive polybutene in one plant. The apparatus for selectively preparing reactive polybutenes and a nonreactive polybutene comprises: a reactive polybutene polymerization catalyst supply device for generating a reactive polybutene polymerization catalyst for the polymerization of reactive polybutenes; a nonreactive polybutene polymerization catalyst supply device for generating a nonreactive polybutene polymerization catalyst for the polymerization of a nonreactive polybutene; and a reactor in which a catalyst is supplied from the reactive polybutene polymerization catalyst supply device or the nonreactive polybutene polymerization catalyst supply device, and a reaction material containing isobutene is supplied so as to be polymerized into polybutene.
