Abstract:
The present invention is to provide an apparatus and method for using a camera to sense the motion of a sphere moving on a plane, and an apparatus and method for sensing the motion of a golf ball moving on a putting mat. The apparatus is intended for a sports sphere moving on a plane, uses a low-cost single camera, and can detect the sports sphere and perform spatial recognition without additional dedicated lighting. Thus, the apparatus is free from the restriction that the installation location of the camera must be fixed, and can have a simple configuration and be used without being significantly restricted in terms of location.
