Abstract:

An apparatus and a method for solidifying an artificial stone by utilizing microwave heating. The apparatus comprises a microwave solidifying cavity (16) for containing the artificial stone not completely solidified, with the artificial stone not completely solidified being heated to be solidified completely by utilizing microwaves; wherein the frequency of the microwaves is between 300-1120 MHz, and by using a separate microwave solidifying cavity and utilizing the characteristic that the depth of penetration of the microwaves of 300-1120 MHz is high, the fast solidification of the large-size artificial stone can be realized.
