Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus for preheating cooling water of an engine generator, comprising: a preheating space (300); a cooling water preheating block (100) having outlet valve screw holes (10, 20) for introducing the preheated cooling water to an engine block; and an air outlet pressure device (200) for enabling the cooling water in the cooling water preheating block (100) to flow according to a natural circulation principle. The cooling water preheating block (100) includes a preheater (500), a preheating block separator (700) arranged at the center of the block, a conduction hole (60) formed in the right side of the preheating block separator (700), a cooling water inflow space (400) formed beneath the hole (60), and a plurality of valves. The preheating space (300) and the cooling water inflow space (400) are formed to be in communication with each other such that the temperature difference between the preheating space (300) and the cooling water inflow space (400) is clear even when the preheater (500) is heated, thus enabling a natural circulation caused by convective heat transfer to be smoothly performed. The engine coolant may not need to be drained and the plurality of valves of the cooling water preheating block (100) is closed to change a preheater in the event that the preheater breaks down.
