Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1998/056552
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An apparatus for preventing a cut core from falling for core drills, capable of carrying out drilling without causing a cut core to fall even during a downward through-hole drilling by a core drill. This apparatus for preventing a cut core from falling for core drills is adapted to apply cutting teeth to a structure of a predetermined thickness of reinforced concrete, stone or asphalt and rotating the cutting teeth around an arbitrary position on the structure, whereby a part of the structure can be taken out as a cylindrical cut core, the apparatus including a fixing unit (10) adapted to be fixed detachably to a position on the surface of the portion of a structure which corresponds to a core to be cut out, a connecting unit (20) fixed to the fixing unit (10), and a suspension unit (30) which is supported in a position close to a rotary shaft of the cutting teeth attached rotatably to a core drill, and which is capable of supporting the connecting unit (20) in suspended state.
