Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for recycling a waste automobile floor mat through a single process which crushes a waste automobile floor mat and then melts the same to produce a primary melt, adds polypropylene to the primary melt and then stirs and melts the same to produce a secondary melt, and extrudes the secondary melt to produce recycled plastic. The apparatus for recycling a waste automobile floor mat according to the present invention comprises: a plurality of conveyor belts which are arranged sequentially so as to convey pressed, cut, and crushed scraps, respectively; a first cutter for cutting the pressed scraps conveyed at predetermined intervals; a crusher for crushing the conveyed cut scraps; a pair of first hoppers into which the conveyed crushed scraps and polypropylene are injected and discharged out of, respectively; a pair of first screw conveyors for conveying the scraps and the polypropylene discharged downstream of each of the pair of first hoppers, respectively; a second hopper into which the scraps and the polypropylene conveyed by the pair of first screw conveyors are injected and discharged out of; a second screw conveyor for conveying the scraps and the polypropylene discharged downstream of the second hopper; a melter for melting the scraps and the polypropylene conveyed by the second screw conveyor; a third screw conveyor for extruding the mixed and molten scraps and polypropylene to form an extruded article; and a second cutter for cutting the extruded article at predetermined intervals.
