Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for removing a suspended layer from water surface, the apparatus being automated to effectively deal with a small oil spill accident. To achieve the above objective, the present invention may provide an apparatus for removing a suspended layer from water surface, the apparatus being provided as a hull that can move while floating on the water surface and comprising: a contaminated water inlet arranged on a front surface portion of the hull and receiving contaminated water; a storage unit for storing the contaminated water flowed in through the contaminated water inlet; a connecting unit for connecting the contaminated water inlet to the storage unit such that the contaminated water can move; a discharge unit arranged on a lower end of a side opposite to the contaminated water inlet in the storage unit and discharging the water separated downward due to a density difference to the outside of the apparatus; and a buoyancy device connected to the storage unit. The contaminated water inlet includes an inlet port which is at least partially located at the same height as the water surface in a state in which the hull is floating on the water surface such that the contaminated water can flow in as the apparatus moves, and the connecting unit is inclined downward from the horizontal and is provided with a contaminated water transport means that may transport the contaminated water to the storage unit. In addition, at least a part of the storage unit is located under the water surface in a state in which the hull is floating on the water surface.
