Abstract:
Disclosed is an apparatus for replacing a roll of a rolling mill. An apparatus for replacing a roll of a rolling mill, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a transfer frame disposed in parallel to a shaft of a roll of a rolling mill; a transfer carriage moving along the transfer frame; a roll handler, mounted on the transfer carriage and moving with the transfer carriage, for withdrawing or inputting the roll from or in the rolling mill; and a plurality of guide rolls disposed on an upper part of the transfer frame and supporting a transferred roll, wherein the roll handler comprises: a rotating member installed in the transfer carriage; a rotational driving unit for rotating the rotating member; an extension bar extending from a position eccentric from a rotating center of the rotating member in the direction of withdrawing and inputting the roll; a first magnetic clamp disposed in a free end of the extension bar and attaching an end part of the roll thereto; and a second magnetic clamp installed at the eccentric position of the rotating member opposite to the extension bar and attaching the end part of the roll thereto.
