Abstract:
This apparatus for direct decomposition of hydrocarbons, which directly decomposes a hydrocarbon into carbon and hydrogen, is provided with a reactor in which a catalyst comprising a plurality of metal particles, wherein the purity of iron is 86% or more, is contained. The reactor is configured such that a starting material gas containing a hydrocarbon is supplied thereto.
