Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: an application body with which it is possible to carry out desired work stably and accurately while not being prone to wear during application, writing, or drawing; and an applicator provided with the application body. [Solution] This application body 1 comprises a rectangular plate-shaped application main body 2. The application main body 2 is constituted such that the maximum width X of the application main body 2 in a cross-section 2a perpendicular to the longitudinal direction thereof is 1.2-5.0 times the maximum thickness Y of the application main body 2 in the cross-section 2a and such that the thickness of at least one end part in the width direction thereof is 1.8mm or less. Thus, according to the application body 1, it becomes possible to stably and accurately carry out desired work on an object while not being prone to wear during application, writing, drawing, etc.
