Abstract:

An application management device includes: basic application storage means (1) for storing basic applications (3₁ to 3_n) for realizing basic functions; basic application execution means (2) for reading out a basic application from the basic application storage means and executing it; extended application acquisition/storage means (5) for acquiring and storing extended applications (7₁ to 7_m) for realizing additional functions; extended application execution means (6) for reading out an extended application from the extended application acquisition/storage means and executing it; and resource monitoring means (8) for monitoring a resource consumed by execution of the extended application and terminating a predetermined extended application while operating the basic application if the use amount of the resource exceeds a predetermined value.
