Provided is an application of a Pseudomonas aeruginosa vaccine in preventing and treating bacterial infections associated with a burn or scald injury. The burn or scald injury comprises a burn or a scald. The degrees of burn injury comprise first degree burns, second degree superficial burns, second degree deep burns, and third degree scalds. The scalded part comprises skin, mucous membrane, or other tissues.
