Abstract:
Provided is an applicator that uses a stopper ring to temporarily couple a tip shaft and a shaft tube to each other and that enables easy positioning when coupling. Also provided is an applicator that demonstrates improved assemblability during manufacture. Provided is an applicator that includes a shaft tube that has an accommodation part, which is provided inside the shaft tube on the rear side and accommodates an application liquid, and an application part that is arranged inside the tip end of the shaft tube. The application liquid accommodated in the accommodation part in the shaft tube is supplied to the application part. A tip shaft and the shaft tube each have a rotation preventing rib, as well as a main coupling part and a temporary coupling part formed therein. In an initial coupling state, which is before a temporary coupling state where the temporary coupling parts of the shaft tube and tip shaft are in engagement with each other, the rotation preventing ribs of the shaft tube and tip shaft are not in engagement with each other. In a main coupling state where the main coupling parts of the shaft tube and tip shaft are in engagement with each other, the rotation preventing ribs of the shaft tube and tip shaft are in engagement with each other.
