Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of engineering machinery, and in particular to an arm and a production method for the arm. The arm comprises a first connecting member, a main pipe member, and a second connecting member which are sequentially connected; the material of the first connecting member and the second connecting member comprises metal; connecting ends are formed at the two ends of the main pipe member, and the material of the main pipe member comprises a fiber reinforced composite material; and the portion, located between the two connecting ends, of the main pipe member is made of the fiber reinforced composite material. According to the present application, the connecting ends are formed at the two ends of the main pipe member, the material of the main pipe member comprises the fiber reinforced composite material, and the portion, located between the two connecting ends, of the main pipe member is made of the fiber reinforced composite material, so that the arm is light in weight and high in strength, and the problem that the structural strength is inconsistent due to the situation that the main body of the arm uses a welding process is solved; and the material of the first connecting member and the second connecting member which are connected to the main pipe member comprises a metal material, so that the wear resistance and strength of the connection positions can be ensured, and the service life of the arm is prolonged.
