Abstract:
An armature used for an electric motor or the like for an engine starter, wherein a ring (11) made of an annular steel plate is fitted via an insulating paper (12) onto the outer periphery of commutator segments (2), to which armature coils (6) are connected, in order to stably maintain bonding strength between the commutator segments (2) and a resin mold member (3) fastened to an armature rotary shaft (5).
