Abstract:
An array substrate, a manufacturing method therefor and a display device. The array substrate is provided with a display area (A) and a driving circuit area (B) adjacent to the display area, wherein the display area (A) and the driving circuit area (B) are provided with the same underlying substrate (1); the driving circuit area comprises a Timer Control Register and/or a System on Chip; the Timer Control Register is used for realizing time sequence control over the array substrate; and the System on Chip is used of realizing driving control over the array substrate. Due to the facts that the display area (A) and the driving circuit area (B) in the above array substrate are formed on the same underlying substrate (1) and that the driving circuit area (B) on the underlying substrate (1) comprises the Timer Control Register and/or the System on Chip, it is considered that the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) part in the prior art is replaced by the driving circuit area (B), and thus is omitted to achieve the integration of display and circuit driving, save manufacturing time and reduce manufacturing costs, reduce panel thickness, and make modules lighter and thinner. The array substrate can be applied to transparent display and ultrathin display.
