Abstract:
Article dispensing devices that handle spherical capsules and cylindrical capsules in a mixed state are desired. This article storage/discharge device has a stock case 31 that horizontally stores a plurality of cylindrical capsules C accommodating articles, with each capsule having both ends closed. A tray 35 having a recessed center is disposed at the bottom of the stock case. A U-shaped or circular discharge port 39 is opened at a position corresponding to a valley at the center of the tray on the lower side plate of the stock case. A half-split cylinder 63 that receives one of the capsules is disposed above the valley of the tray. The half-split cylinder is rotatably supported around a central axis. A motor 51 axially rotates the half-split cylinder. The one capsule is dropped from the half-split cylinder into the valley of the tray by rotating the half-split cylinder. A push plate 79 moves the one dropped capsule in the longitudinal direction parallel to the central axis and pushes the one capsule out from the discharge port.
