Abstract:
An article retrieval device 10 is provided with article containing units 14, an ejection mechanism 15 for ejecting an article one by one, an audio file storage unit 106, an image file storage unit 107, an operating unit 13 for selecting any one of the containing units, an audio reproduction unit (18, 113, 114) for reproducing an audio file that has been read, a printing unit 19 for printing an image file that has been read, and a control unit 101. The control unit, on the basis of the article-provided time, audio reproduction time, and image printing time, controls the start of provision of the article, the start of audio reproduction, and the start of image printing so that image printing is completed simultaneously with the provision of the article and audio reproduction, or within a predetermined time. Because the audio reproduction and the provision of image-printed matter are provided together with the provision of the article, enjoyability is enhanced. Further, because image printing is completed simultaneously with the provision of the article and audio reproduction or within a predetermined time, the boredom of having to wait for printing can be reduced. Thus, enjoyability is further enhanced.
