Abstract:
Provided is an article supply system that achieves both cost reduction and performance improvement. The article supply system according to an embodiment comprises an article supply device and a first recognition device. The article supply device reads a first image from a first surface of an article conveyed on a first conveyance path, outputs the first image, and supplies the article to an article classification device. The first recognition device recognizes classification information on the basis of the first image, and outputs a first recognition result including the recognized classification information. The article classification device conveys, on a second conveyance path, the article supplied from the article supply device, reads a second image from a second surface of the article conveyed, receives the first recognition result or a second recognition result including classification information recognized from the second image, and controls the classification of the article on the basis of the first or second recognition result.
