Abstract:
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a tool with which it is possible to efficiently perform the work of inserting human hair into loops of artificial hair and the work of forming knots of the human hair to prevent the artificial hair from falling off. Another purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for fastening artificial hair to human hair efficiently and in a manner that does not damage the human hair. [Solution] Provided are: an artificial hair-fastening tool that has a leading end, which is spindle-shaped with a groove along the longitudinal direction on the circumferential surface and has a tip on one end, and a rod-shaped back end, which extends from the leading end in the opposite direction from the tip; and an artificial hair-fastening method for fastening with an overhand knot of human hair closer to the root of the human hair than two artificial hair member loops fixed on the human hair.
