Abstract:
Disclosed are an artificial intelligence medical suction device and a method for controlling an artificial intelligence medical suction device. The present invention is enabled by a control unit performing the steps of: receiving patient state information including breathing information of a patient; and determining whether to introduce a catheter into the respiratory system of the patient based on the patient state information. According to the present invention, provided is the medical suction device capable of proactively determining whether introduction of a catheter for aspirating foreign substances, such as phlegm, into the respiratory system of the patient is required, by analyzing the patient state information.
