Abstract:
The present invention provides a robot cleaner comprising: a main body forming the external shape thereof; a water tank for storing water; a pair of rotary mops which move the main body while rotating in contact with the floor; a driving motor for rotating the pair of rotary mops; and a control unit which reads the output current of the driving motor when the pair of rotary mops rotate, thereby determining the moisture content of the rotary mops, and determines whether there is a shortage of water in the water tank. Thus, the present invention can provide a robot cleaner which can measure the moisture content of the rotary mops of the robot cleaner without having a separate sensor for detecting moisture content, and is thus effective in terms of cost and space utilization.
