Abstract:
An asphalt finisher (100) is provided with: a tractor (1); a hopper (2) that is installed on the front side of the tractor (1) and that receives a paving material; a conveyor (CV) that feeds the paving material in the hopper (2) to the rear side of the tractor (1); a screw (SC) that lays and spreads the paving material fed by the conveyor (CV) on the rear side of the tractor (1); a screed (3) that compacts the paving material laid and spread by the screw (SC) on the rear side of the screw (SC); an information acquisition device (51) that acquires information about a road to be paved; and a controller (50). The controller (50) is configured so as to assist an operation for aligning the center of the tractor (1) with the center of a scheduled paving region on the basis of information acquired by the information acquisition device (51).
