Abstract:
An assessing device (181) is used in a monitoring system of a photovoltaic power generation system in which output lines from a plurality of solar cell panels are each electrically connected to an electric power converting device. The monitoring system is provided with a collecting device (101) and a monitoring device which transmits measurement information representing a measurement result relating to a corresponding solar cell panel to the collecting device via the corresponding output line, and is provided with a monitoring unit (41) which monitors the reception status, by the collecting device (101), of information transmitted regularly or irregularly from the monitoring device to the collecting device (101) via the output lines, and an assessing unit (48) which performs an assessment process to assess abnormalities relating to the transport of the information, on the basis of the reception status monitored by the monitoring unit (41).
